A couple weeks ago now, I was able to go to the latest “Salute to Supernatural” convention held in Washington D.C. Let me tell you I had a blast, even though my regular SPN “family” was not with me, & going by myself (reminded me of my first SPN con where I knew absolutely no one!) I was never truly alone while there. Met some new friends that I had spoken to online prior to going and finally meeting them in person.

I am still learning all the settings on my camera and I am not yet at a really good point in the shooting of darker scenes. Never quite sure what setting to use, yadda, yadda, yadda!! (fellow photog’s out there know what I mean!) After finally figuring out where my setting’s needed to be for the crazy lighting, I was good to go!

I was able to get the shot below (Hallelujah!) during the “Free for All” Karaoke party on Friday night, I think it is a little blurry (at least to my eyes, needs to be crisper) but still love it, and Chad loved it when I tweeted and instagramed it out, do I did a little Happy Dance!!

I converted it to B&W, I have been told it is a very ‘Moody” shot, but I love it all the same!
